Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love, and a Hard-Boiled Egg!

You know how it is; you don't get a geeky holiday for ages, then three come at once. Glorious 25th Of May Referencing The People's Revolution of the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May from Terry Pratchett's Discworld, today has been co-opted as a platform for raising awareness of and to support research into Altzheimer's disease . It is traditional to wear lilac today, or carry an actual lilac. And, affectionately, a hard boiled egg. I don't have any lilac clothes or, for that matter, lilacs. So I'm making do with a lilac background. Towel Day Today is also used to commemorate Douglas Adams, author, of course, of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, amongst other wondrous things. To quote the 'guide: any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.
