Day three was much anticipated. We finally got to go to the amazing Prague Zoo. It's absolutely massive, and only costs a fiver to get in. We timed it perfectly and managed to hit just about every enclosure at feeding time.
To get to the zoo we had to take the Metro. Here are the terrifyingly steep, deep escalators.
Here are a couple more pics from the zoo, just because I like them. The penguin was a proper show-off, scudding up and down his pond like a maniac. He occasionally whizzed passed the glass-sided bit of tank so I could snap him on his way through. The giraffe babies look very cuddly and cute, but they were both six feet tall so perhaps standing at a distance was best.
